Restarting the blog yet again

You know, sometimes I’d forget my own head if it wasn’t glued on.

My university classes will now be online as of tomorrow and one assessment that was due to happen this week will now be deferred – it’s a speaking test for my Japanese language paper. Which is good because I definitely don’t remember it all now so I’ll get more time to revise for when it actually does happen. I don’t know what will happen with the in-term test as yet but the class will find out in due course.

This is what the course coordinator (he is our main 先生) wrote in his most recent message to the class – I do find it somewhat reassuring as he knows that I am finding it a bit hard at the moment:

Please understand that, although we cannot see you face to face, we have not gone away. We are still here, working for you, and will be available via email or the LEARN forum as well as via the Zoom sessions. We will do our utmost to provide you with everything you need to continue your progress in this course. Do not hesitate to contact us with your questions and suggestions.

Stay safe, look after yourselves and each other, and kia kaha.

That’s all we can do really. Stay safe, look after ourselves and each other and kia kaha (be strong).
