For those of you who celebrate St Patrick’s Day, I hope it was a good one for you! I ended up spending the day with my mates, doing the following:
- Firstly, purchasing the most important thing of all for the day – BOOZE!
- Going around to our mate’s place, having some of our booze and playing Texan Hold ‘Em
- Going to the movies (where I ate an entire jumbo box of popcorn by myself)
- Going back to our mate’s place, drinking some more booze and playing Kings and Arseholes as well as a slightly different version of Ride the bus
- Going to the Irish bar in town for a pint of Guinness
- Going around to another mate’s place, drinking more booze, eating pizza, and playing Singstar on the PS2
I never really went out of my way to celebrate the day before I went to tech but now, I think I’ll be celebrating it every year now. The day is what you make of it.
Naturally, I was paying for it in the form of a hangover yesterday but after a couple of Nurofen tablets, I felt better by lunchtime.
