All Blacks v France, 13 June 2009

I’ve finally uploaded three pictures that I took at the All Blacks v France test match in Dunedin on Saturday night. I took a lot of pictures and got some video as well but I won’t be uploading the video any time soon because they’re huge size wise and they’ll take forever and a day to upload on our sucky dial-up connection.
The first one was taken just before kick-off, the second one is of the Selwyn Ballet (a Dunedin tradition) and the third one is of the French team warning up before the game. It was a nice night – not at all cold like the last time I was at Carisbrook for a game. That time, it was 2°C at kick-off and it got down to -5°C during the game. At least, the beer was cold!
The All Blacks lost but I’m putting that down to wearing my All Blacks shirt at the game. The last time I saw the All Blacks play France in 2003, I wore my French shirt and the All Blacks won. Maybe that’s telling me something…
