  2. Meet Freddie

    FreddieThis is our new kitten Freddie. She’s nearly nine weeks old, has beautiful blue eyes and is completely medium grey apart from the lighter grey around her nose and eyes. To be honest, I had completely forgotten what it was like to have a kitten around as Billie is 11 and Simba around 13 but Freddie (FYI, she is named after the one and only Freddie Mercury of Queen fame) is very playful, as the numerous scratches and claw/teeth marks on my hands, arms and face can attest to!

    So if you follow me on Twitter, where I have mentioned Freddie several times, now you know what she looks like!

  3. The Sims 2: Don Lothario

    Yes, I know I’m behind the times in that I’m still playing The Sims 2 but in order for me to play The Sims 3, the RAM on the PC I’m currently on and my laptop both need to be upgraded!

    Anyway, because Don Lothario is Pleasantview’s resident Casanova, I’ve decided to to an entry dedicated to him and the children that he has fathered with various female sims in Pleasantview. Basically, this means that once I’m a a bit further along in the game, then I’ll update this post with pictures of his children (and their mothers too!).

    Edited: Just so you know, the first picture of his children has been posted. I’ll be posting them under a cut so you will have to click on it to view the pictures of his children and their history.

  4. The delivery battle is now on!

    On New Years Eve, I ordered a couple of items from the WWE site – The Marine 2 and another DVD. Yes, they maybe Region 1 NTSC but my DVD player can play them! Then on Wednesday, I ordered four books from an Australian website. I say the delivery battle is on because the order from Australia will take between 5 and 12 working days (and the books are coming from Sydney which is only a 3 hour flight away from New Zealand) and the WWE order will apparently take between 5 and 7 working days.

    I can’t wait!

    Edit: I tracked my WWE order through the UPS site and on Monday, it was in Auckland with a scheduled delivery date of today (Wednesday). It actually arrived yesterday. I very quickly sent WWEShop.com an email saying how impressed I was with the speed of the delivery because it didn’t even take five working days to get here! Needless to say, I will be purchasing from them again at a later date – just need around $100 or so in my bank account to be able to do it!

    Edit #2: My online purchase from Australia arrived today! Four books that I can’t wait to read.

  5. Bejeweled Blitz

    My best ever score on Bejewled Blitz
    Bejeweled Blitz is a very addictive game on Facebook that I have to play every time I check Facebook out. I can be sitting there for hours playing it but after just getting that high score, I think I’m going to give it up for a few days, haha.

    I will be adding the breakdown of that score later on. I keep staring at that screencap of it that I took, haha!
