My NaNo effort for this year is slowly getting there. I never write it in order so I’ve got parts of it literally all over the place! I’m currently sitting at just over 18,000 words but I am hoping to get to 20,000 by the end of today. I’m trying to have a buffer of some sort in case I have an off day and can’t be arsed doing any of it, heh.

Nearly that time again

It’s nearly NaNoWriMo time so that means I’m gearing up by deciding on characters, certain things that will happen, locations, etc. In previous years, I did NaNoWriMo in between assignments for tech but as I’m not at tech, and usually have several rostered days off from work each week, I should be able to really sit down and churn out something half decent!
50,000 words is generally considered a short novel but I’m hoping to get somewhere close to 60,000 – if not over! If I feel like it, I may post a little excerpt from the WIP during November.
